usb to firewire converter ?

i have no working usb ports on my pc, but the firewire ports work good.
i know there are firewire-to-usb converters out there, but is there a
usb-to-firewire hub or converter out there ?

If this is a notebook machine, you will be
better served by a PCMCIA USB card, if it's
a desktop machine, a PCI USB card.

Never seen USB - Firewire converters.

I suspect that a card with 4 USB ports would be much cheaper
than a usb to firewire converter.
