Hi all

I have a machine where USB sticks can be used they have a drive letter (E:)
and then show in the dropdown box of the open file dialog within
applications

BUT they do NOT show in My Computer or Windows Explorer ????

Which makes them a pain to access

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Andrew

Maybe something here:

an easier way might be to insert the stick into your usb port --> then go to
disk management and see if it's listed there. if it is, make sure that it's
not using a drive letter that's in use by something else.

Mike

It is shown in disk mamangement.

How can I tell if the drive letter is already used ? There is nothing
showing in My Computer when the stick is NOT there

Thanks

Andrew
