USB,s not working

I have a USB problem. one restart of my winxp Home pc caused USB "unknown"
errors and in Device Manager the USB have a yellow exclamation mark by them.
No drivers are installed and roll back wont help it says no driver
previously installed.
I read via Google a "fix" delete host controllers in device manager let
computer restart and USB's should load up. Didn't work for me the host
controllers came up with a yellow exclamation mark, however I managed a roll
back driver on them. Although no USB devices work or seem to be recognised
