USB problems with XP and SP 1

Have problem getting SONY DSC-P32 camera to be recognized
by the computer. Have followed SONY install proceedure.

Cannot get Sidewinder Precision Steering Wheel to install
on samer computer.

Appears to be USB problem. Other devices are installed
with NO problems.
 
And the Sony install method would be.......? Since I don't own any Sony
equipment, what method did you use?

Did you try connecting the joystick, going to the Control Panel, clicking on
Game Controllers and using AutoDetect... XP will then install its own built
in drivers.
