USB pports not recognised

Help
On installation of 2000, the USB are not recognised at
all, and hence, i have no USB ports on the machine, or no
usable ones to any extent.
can any one help? PLEASE!

Most likely the system bios is not Windows 2000 compatible.

or, USB is not enabled in the BIOS. Check the BIOS for this.
