Greetings,
I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question or not,
but I'll give it a shot. I am reading the USB 2.0 article in
Wikipedia and it talks about the power demands of connected devices
and so forth. I have had some flaky behavior with external disk
drives and my Canon Powershot camera and it got me thinking - maybe
some of my problems/slow response are due to these devices attempting
to draw too much power, but WinXP doesn't notify the user of this
condition. Can anyone tell me if such notifications are present in
WinXP? I'm not seeing any but was wondering about it.
Thanks,
Mike
