USB PORTs NO LONGER FUNCTIONNING

Hi, Upon coming back fron an extended holiday, my USP ports seem to have quit
on me. First I restored to a control point but no change. I removed all
equipment except my ext disk which I know functions : there is electricity
but no communication ! Scanners, printers, external drive are not being
recognized. The only other problem noticed : my clock was way out. Someone
mentioned that a window update could have created USB problemS ?

You may have lost the battery on the Motherboard.
