USB port 1.1 or 2.0 - what kind?

Currently I have an ECS K7S5A Motherboard. It says there are USB 2.0
ports on it. Sisoft Sandra shows both USB 1.1 and 2.0. I do have
some devices plugged into the USB slots.

Is there anyway in the OS that would show me:

1) what USB port I am using (there are 4)
2) what kind of USB slot - 1.1 or 2.0

Or do I have to go to my mobo guide for this info.

Thanks,

Tmuld

All your USB ports are 2.0. They are backward compatible with 1.0/1.1
devices.
This assumes, of course, that you have proper USB 2.0 drivers installed.

How do you know they're 2.0, if I may ask? - from the mobo specs provided?

And, DOES anyone know the answers to QQ 1 & 2 from the OP?

Judging by the speeds - the driver must be isntalled.
But how do I check for sure?

Thanks for the info!

Tmuld.

In Device Manager, when you expand "Universal Serial Bus Controllers",
you'll see "USB 2.0 Root Hub".
