USB Peripheral Certification

Chintu

Hello,
Please help me with following clarification -

We are developing a full speed USB peripheral using Philips USB
controller. The USB contrller PDIUSBD12 is USB 2.0 , Basic speed (
12Mbps) complaint device.

I want to know -

1. What tests are needed for my peripheral to be USB compliant?

2. Do I need to conduct all the electrical , interoperability, device
framework tests on the peripheral?

3. Is it sufficient if I test the device with USBCV.exe?

4. What about the windows WHQL? Is it a must?

with best regards
Chintu

Since USB 2.0 is 480 mbps, where do you get 12 mbps from? That is USB 1.1
transfer speed.
