USB Mouse.

When an optical USB mouse is connected, my notebook will not shut down
properly. Instead, just before cutting power, it will display a blank blue
screen with a frozen mouse pointer. When the mouse is not connected,
everything works as it should. I've tried several mice. The BIOS and chipset
firmware is the latest version for my board.
Any ideas?

Delete the mouse drivers and reinstall?
