I have a Microsoft IR USB (with the forward and back
buttons if that makes a difference). Every time I turn my
Computer on the mouse is non-reponsive. But once I unplug
it and plug it back in it works fine and continues to work
after I restart the PC. It is only from a shutdown that
it fails to be responsive. I have both USB1 and USB2
ports and both give me the same problem. After I plug the
mouse back in it is registered in my Device Manager but
under the system info there is no mouse present. Does
anyone know how to solve my problem without continuous
disconnecting and reconnecting?
