I'm interested to connect from two to four USB microphones to PC. Is
there a way to do it? A separate box to be built? Accepting four USB
inputs, one USB output to PC. Besides the hardware also some software
to be developped?

Buy a cheap mixer and use normal mics and then feed them into the box.
