I am currently experiencing a problem with USB issue in Windows 2000 Service Pack 4. I have attempted to use a “Cruzer Mini 256†to download files but windows 2000 will not recognize the USB thumb drive. My understanding is that “Plug and Play†should have automatically stated when the drive is placed into the machine. I have tried all know “regedt32†fixes as well as reinstalling the USB controllers and enabled all security features. Does anyone have any idea why windows will not recognize the removable drive?

I have been having the same issues with the Cruzer Mini
128. According to SanDisk Techsupport, I am missing my
UMSD(usb mass storage driver) I reinstalled them from my
windows 2000p disc, and i am still having issue. I guess
we are both in the same boat, and can both use the same
