usb hub

I tried to connect my new usb hub ,it found the new hardware
and started searching for drivers
It then came up with error "code 28
The usb hub did not come with any software
It is a plug and play
Please ,would be very grateful for any hel

It looks like you are getting:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

look at the chip on the hub, i.e via nec or sis go to
driverguide.com for lastest driverss. or go to
manufacturers website.
