usb host controller error code 43

On my Windows 7 laptop at home, I'm getting usb host controller error code
43. My usb printer works and my usb flash drive works but my external 250gb
usb drive does not work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are no Microsoft public news groups for Win 7. Support has been moved

There is one alt group:

alt.windows7.general

When you post again, you should explain in detail what "does not work"
means. Quote any error messages completely.
