I am looking at connecting 3 usb devices from a range of around 10m. I have read extension cables can only carry power for 5metres, so i was wondering if i should get a repeater(5m) and another 5m extension cable? Although i would have to do the same for each usb device.

Could i instead buy a USB hub and connect the devices to that, and then plug the hub into the repeater? Is the repeater only designed to carry enough power for 1 usb device, if so using a hub wouldn't work would it?

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Stu
