Windows XP sp2 - can't install HP PSC 1510.
Receive an error message while installing installation cd at connect device
prompt : USBHUB not found in INF file.
Had removed an older HP printer that was connected by paralle port, new PSC
is usb.Can this be the problem ?
Have 6 ports, 2 - front, 4 rear and device doesn't work in any of them
although device manager says they are working.
Expanded the INF files.
Have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and get same message.
Dell's diagnostic report found a few error message numbers in BIOS : "bad
command" 1100:0222, 1100:0322, 1100:0422
Overall though, the report was good.
Any suggestions ? And THANKS, ahead of time

"Overall though, the report was good."

It's not like a report card from school. Either your BIOS has errors or it
does not. Yours does, and you need to fix them.

I understand that much, Ted...I included the numbers of the BIOS report to
see if somebody knew if that could be part of the reason my USB ports aren't
operating and how to fix. Thank You for your reply...

That numbering system was created by Dell. Their techs can interpret them
for you.

Glad I could help. It takes a while before you figure out which error codes
belong to which software. That's coming from someone who's seen lots of
error codes in his time.
