Hi maybe someone here can help. built a system for vista with a FIC mainboard
with an SIS chipset. everything works great with the exception of the USB!!
the motherboard lists SIS 7002 enhanced chip for USB 2.0 and has drivers for
that on the disc. Vista only sees the chipset as a 7001 (usb 1.1) chipset.
by the hardware list the 7002 USB 2.0 should be loaded but if I manually
change them they show a hardware problem and revert back to the 7001 chip
doing a driver update.. any ideas on how to resolve this? any help would be
great

Does your BIOS have a setting for 'Legacy USB Support'? If yes, try
changing it to the opposite setting.
