check this out. Allows restrictions to more than just USB
ports. We've starting using it and it has some of our end
users baffled...lol http://www.ntutility.com/dl/index.htm
Armando,
Thank you.
I have looked into the DeviceLock application.
Unfortunately, to purchase it would be way to expensive.
It would cost over $5000 for my company to buy the correct licensing for it.
That is why I am looking for a simpler way.
Maybe just disabling USB in device manager and ghosting for any new PCs
would be best.
Current PCs will just have to be a manual job....unless SMS can do
something....
This was a question I posed some time ago and was told that this could
not be achieved within the operating system. I have since been
looking at 2 solutions for controlling USB and other removable media
access www.deviclock.com & www.disknetpro.com. Hope this helps
