USB device as c:

I recently wiped my computer clean and installed windows XP SP2 fresh. After
installing, I went into the Disk Managment utility to finish
partitioning/formatting my drives. I noticed that my 1st partition on my 1st
disk was e:, not c:. Looking at My Computer, somehow my USB flash drive got
mapped to c:. Is this going to cause a problem in the future?

It could, maybe.. if you essentially only have the bare OS installed, redo
the installation with the Flash drive removed.. this will reinstate the OS
to C..

Mike,

Thanks...I held back installing anything but XP til I knew for sure, so I'll
just start over and make sure the card reader is disconnected.
