USB Card Reader Drive Letters

My card reader assigns 4 drive letters at startup. This conflicts with
network drives assigned later. How can I only assign a drive letter when the
media is inserted in the reader. We only use CF cards and don't need the
others anyway.

Start ==> Run ==> diskmgmt.msc

Change the drive letters for the removable drives to something that doesn't
conflict.

I am seeing this more and more. I have found it is better in the long run to
change network drives to start at Z: and work down. Depending on how you map
the drives this can be a trivial task or a pain in the a##.
