usb 2.0

hi i realy dont know if thsi is the way to get help but i
am realy having trouble installing my usb 2.0
drivers.when i try to install them from the origonal
drivers disk a window pops up with a link to microsoft
telling me i need the updated driver but when i scan for
available updates the one i require is never listed.plz
help
 
Hi,

You didnt say what OS you are using. If you are using XP,
install Service Pack 1. When done, go onto the Knowledge
Base Site and do a search for USB. It should bring up an
article about the "Availabilty of USB 1.1 and 2.0
Updates". Download and run the fix. Et Voilla, you should
then be able to install your USB 2.0 drivers
