USB 2.0?

How can I tell if my machine has USB 2.0 or 1.0? I need to add a printer,
and it will only run on 2.0. Thanks in advance.

Right-click My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager, scroll
down to Universal Serial Bus Controllers, right click one of the controllers
listed. Select Properties. If you see ‘USB 2.0 or ‘Enhanced’, then you have
USB 2.0

Mine says "Open Host Controller" which is neither UHC nor EHC. What say ye?

If, by chance, your PC has an Intel chipset, go here:

http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/inf/sb/CS-009266.htm

to download and run a utility to tell you what chipset you have. From there, you
should be able to tell from Intel's web site if that chipset supports USB 2.0.
