Using Windows XP SP2

Is there some objective way to test for USB 2.0 support?

I probably don't need to change any settings, I just need to test
whether in fact the system is using the USB 2.0 protocol/standard.

Thank you.

Load the driver that comes with SP2. Simple test would be to copy
a file from a thumb drive, and note the time it takes.

I use XP Pro SP2 on a computer with some USB 1.1 and some 2.0 ports on
my mobo. The simple way to tell which port is which is to let XP tell
me. I plug a 2.0 device into the port. If it is 1.1, XP gives me a
message that this device could use a faster port. If it is 2.0, XP just
tells me that the device is ready.
