USB 2.0 Problem

I have bought Seagate 80GB external HDD with ENTER (E-25U) casing.
The problem i am facing is that when i plugged this HDD in my PC (Windows
2000 SP4) , it detects the HDD but a yellow exclamation mark ("!") appears
accross it and when i saw the properties it says "Device could not start
(error code 10)". I searched alot and tried installing various update drivers
for it but no luck.
But this same HDD gets detected in my office computer
NOTE :
My USB port is 2.0 -- as in Device Manager it shows Universal Enhanced
Device Controller
