URLS SENT ARE USELESS

E

Edna

WXP SP3, IE 7.0, OFFICE 2007, Norton Security 2008
Using Outlook 2007, my urls leaving me aren't underlined. The recipient
finds them useless and has to type them in the IE Address bar. I'm the only
one she recvs urls from that aren't functional. The urls I send her are from
respectable sites mostly regarding Windows programs, News sites etc.
I didn't encounter this problem in Office 2000, nor 2003.
Is there some setting I can adjust? Is this problem only in Office 2007 or
am I the only one having this problem due to a setting.
I've checked all my settings but unable to identify a setting that would be
causing this aggravation.
Hope someone can help. Thx
Also when she replies to my email, the url I had sent her is underlined and
functional in the body of the email.

when you put the urls in the message, do you press enter or space at the end
so they convert to clickable urls?

Thx for responding Diane. Here's an example of my experience pasting an url
into this window.

http://www.theenergynews.com/news/cp_article.php?storyid=3190

I hit Enter before moving the Mouse. I then returned to the end and spaced
once then hit Enter - Nothing happens in an OL email window.

Let's see if it turns to an active url by the time I post this.
As it appears to me at the moment, prior to leaving here ... it doesn't have
a line under it.

Try going to Start - run - regsvr32 urlmon.dll and then click ok, and then
go back to Start - Run - regsvr32 mshtml.dll and click ok.

Then reboot, start a new message, type http://www.cnn.com and hit space (or
enter).
