.URL .htm annoying message

After applying Sr1a and Sp3 to Outlook 2000, then going thru slipstick.com
and adding the Level1Remove key to my registry, I get the following very
annoying message after I open an email with either an .htm or .url
attachment, save the attachment, open the attachment (which of course is a
web page) and then close the attachment and either try to close Outlook or
open different email.

"A program still has file attachment xxxx.url open. Changes to this document
will be lost unless you save your changes to another file by clicking the
File menu in the other program, and then clicking save as."

How annoying! How can I fix this annoyance? Please somebody help with this.

either close or save the document before changing to a new message. There
isn;t a way to disable it.

WHAT? every attachment must be saved as, is that what that message is trying
to say? And there's no way to get rid of that meaningless message every time
I open an attachment? Absurd! Good thing I have a backup, I am rolling back
to pre-SP1, the solution is more damaging than the problem!

btw- I did close the document, thats what is ticking me off, the message is
totally meaningless because I closed IE already, there is nothing open
except Outlook! How annoying, it is almost as bad as a virus.
