Dear All,

i am still new to the Citrix & Terminal Service.

Here is in My Company we deployed already Citrix - Last version - .

But i heard something like that:-

With Using Citrix i can restrict access just to applications user needs to
access, while in Terminal service the user gets the Entire desktop and its
diffcult to lockdown the desktop for them.

also,

Bandwidth control in Citrix is better than Terminal services.

So, here is my question,

i want to know from where i can get all the deffrent between Citrix and
terminal service ?

for example, i want to know the things which i can do in Citrix , or what
are the features that Citrix Provide to me , and i cant find these Features
By using Terminal service ?

Can any one guide me to PDF file or small Comparsion between them.

if you want to send an e-amil to me, please send your pdf to ( boma_15 @
hotmail.com ) .

many thanks for you .

How is this "urgent"? You can get this form Citrix' website, but the main
features that exist in Citrix (or other add-on products like Ericom,
Provision Networks, Jetro...) are:

Terminal Server Load Balancing
Display Resolution > 1600x1200
Bandwidth Management
CPU & Memory Management
Universal Printer Driver
Application Publishing
Session Sharing
Seamless Windows Applications
Centralized management console
Bi-directional audio (Citrix PS4 only)
SSL Gateway
Web Interface
Content Publishing
Content Redirection
Session Lockdown & Program Execution Prevention (Provision Networks or
BrsSuite)
Clients for non-Win32, i.e. Linux, Java...

More listed here:

Those are fun, as you'll answer the same question two or three times, or have
two or three threads being answered by different people. It's be nice if
they'd use the cross post feature.

TP, would you mind emailing me offline so I know who you are. You're very
helpful.
