I've a printer (hp1200) installed on a Windows NT
workstation (WAN/LAN). This printer is shared.

From my windows 2000 server box, I install the same
printer as network printer (using the NT printer share).
This printer is visible in my administrator account
(account used to do the installation).

I want to share this printer to all the other users
registered on my W2k server box. How do I do it? Is it
necessary that I should install this printer in all user
logins in my W2K box??

Will active directory come handy? How do I do it? I tried
adding this in my OU - but in vain.

One more point to note. All my users login to the W2K box
through terminal services. I want all the printers in the
network to be routed through the W2K server box.

Thanx in advance

Hi, we have 3 networked pcs thru a server. (The data is
shared on the server.) We all print on a hp1200 shared.
We actually loaded the printer's cd into each computer
separately and followed the on - screen instructions, ie:
is it networked etc. and that's simply all we needed to
do. Good luck. :)
