URGENT! STUPID ME DID SOMETHING STUPID

Hi, I was trying to change the computers name on our network, but it kept
saying that the user id I was logging in to do this with was already in use.
so I took it off domain to workgroup and called it D and was sure it would
reboot and I could put it back on the domain again.

but I can't. it won't accept any of the user names or passwords on the
network and even the standard Administrator with no password, or other logins
for local access only which have no passwords.

So when I start up the pc I press the Ctrl+Alt+Del to get the password
screen but it only shows 2 text entry boxes.

Your incredibly quick assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to change the password (I'd reset the built-in administrator pw
to null, using a boot CD)....

By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, your son
destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so,
he's also rendered your domain login credentials as invalid. You'll
need to be physically connected to the domain network, you'll need to
have administrative privileges to the workstation, and you'll need to
have sufficient privileges on the domain. Then you can add the machine
back on to the domain, after having first deleted the computer's old
domain account (unless you've also renamed the computer).

Take the computer to your company's IT department for repairs.
