URGENT... Outlook O3 hanging

Hi folks... I really need some help with outlook 03... I'd like to be able
to use it but when I set it up for my isp it most often hangs up during
download/upload of messages.... then you get the fine message of 'program
not responding' I'm running a p4 with 2.8 gig cpu and 512 of ram... lots
of storage... I've uninstalled the prog and reinstalled at least 4 times...
with same results... now outlook express does just fine no hang ups works as
well has it always has... at least for me.. lol.. so any and all help would
be greatly appreciated...

Are you using a firewall on your system? How about antivirus software?
The firewall may be blocking it
The AV may have email scanning and is hampering the mail coming or going
If you do not know how to reconfigure your "filters" remove the av/firewall
software and try to see if it works.
On reinstallation it usually gets entered into the allowed firewall
applications list
