Urgent Help

Im using XP Professional.
My computer had a problem and i cant start windows.
I reinstall windows because i couldn´t repair the
previouse version.
Now i can see my oldest user folder where i had my docs,
but i cant enter there because it was protected by
password.
I need to know if there´s a way to unprotect the folder.
I have importante docs there.
PLEASE HELP!
