Urgent Help - Please

I am not being able to open any of my folder. I think its because DEP is not
allowing it. I am running windows XP. It is possible that I have some spyware
etc on my pc. However, I need to be able to access my folder immediately.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Can you use System Restore to restore to a time before you got
spyware?
What makes you think you have spyware? What are your symptoms?
