URGENT HELP : Can no longer get into Windows !

Steve

Hi there,

I need URGENT help please as I can now no longer get into Windows !
I will explain, sorry in advance for the length of the post but I want
to detail as much as possible.

What happened first !
-------------------------------
I had a unwanted virus (or so called 'helper') up in IE, called
'geedb.dll'.
To get rid of it all together I bought a program off the net called
X(something), - I can't remember the full name and I can't access the
computer of course to look it up !

It (hopefully) removed the little dll but ever since I have been
unable to access Windows.

The Problem
--------------------
Preamble :
Windows XP Pro is on RAID 1 (2 x 200GB HD's) formatted with NTFS.
I have a slave with RAID 0, which I use to edit video's and install
games programs to.

When I installed Windows XP Pro I didn't use ANY passwords, I just
left them blank as there is only me in the house used the computer, my
wife never touches it !

When it boots up after using the X(something) program, it doesn't go
straight through into Windows, as it used to, but halts with the Steve
('Frog') icon and when you click on the icon it asks for a password so
I just click the arrow without entering a password and it then says
"Unable to log you on because of an account restriction".

Booting into safe mode produces the 'Steve' and 'Admin' icons, with
exactly the same result if I try to get into Windows

I then spent more money and bought Active Password Changer Pro V3.5,
in the hope of resetting the password.
I used this program in DOS mode as it says, but when I tried to log in
..... exactly the same thing happens !

My other idea was to reinstall Windows XP Pro again over the top of
the existing version, in the hope it will allow a reset of the
passowrd(s), but I can't figure out how to do that ???

Formatting and starting again is really NOT AN OPTION, as I have some
data on the master drive I REALLY need, I was going to copy this to
the slave/backup (honestly) but this has now happened.

There MUST be a solution surely ?
Maybe another (better ?) password changer ?

Please, Please, Please help me someone !

Thanks in Advance,

Steve
