UPS

I keep getting an error message in my event viewer. It says, "Your UPS
service is not configured properly" I went to the forum, for my laptop, to
glean some info out of them, to possibly come up with a solution to the
problem. To no avail, it has been about one and a half months since posting
and no replies.

I went to the Power Management Utility provided by my laptop vendor and
everything seems ok there. Is ther a program glitch somewhere I need to be
aware of.

I run WinXP Home on my Toshiba Satelitte A75-S2112.

Start
Run
Type "services.msc"
Press enter
Find the Uninterruptible Power Supply service
Right click it and select properties
Set it to disabled

As you have a laptop I doubt you have - nor need - the service running.
