UPS on USB port

I have APC BackUp UPS installed on USB Port of Intel
motherboard. Windoxs XP power option provides support to
add UPS; but it shows only COM ports to configure. How to
select USB port for proper settings?

The easiest way is to use APC's Powerchute software.
