Uploading

I really appreciate all the help I am getting here. I'm really NOT a newbie
I have been trying to upload my site to geocities. I went there and got the ftp address and I tried through FrontPage or Shared point services. They both come back with "there is no folder there named uabillparts" or failure to find page on port 21. I'm feeling pretty stupid here, so if someone could take some pity on me, I would really appreciate it
