Frontpage extensions

Jim Shaw

Well here we go.

I set up a website for a house we owned in Cornwall, England. My operating
system is Windows XP. I used Frontpage 2000.
The IP service then decided to change their billing practices and decided to
charge extra for the ability to upload from Frontpage.
I decided not to do this and tried FTP with no success.
So I gave in and upgraded to the service which is supposed to let me upload
to a server with Frontpage Extensions.
When however I try to upload either from within Frontpage or using the
Internet Explorer Wizard I receive a message which says "The site you have
chosen does not appear to have Frontpage Extensions enabled"

I'm not getting much help from the IP service.

So could I be doing anything wrong? I am careful to use the correct User
Name and Password.

Help!!

Jim

If it says they're not enabled, and they didn't give you a means to enable
them, you are at their mercy until they do enable them.

With my web host I used to be able to sign onto my control panel and
either enble or disable FrontPage extensions. Maybe yours is the same.
