I'm helping out a friend with a website and I am use to using FTP to upload web pages into a server. This individual indicated I can upload the pages straight out of frontpage. He gave me a username and password for his server.
1. Where do I place that in FrontPage
2. How do upload straight out of FrontPage
3. Don't I need the IP address of his server

Thanks

Anthony

If he has a registered domain, and it is in the domain name servers.
( if you can click www.hisdomain.com and the web site opens it's
registered )

With the web open in FrontPage, click File > "Publish Web" and then enter:
http://hisdomain.com and click publish. You will be prompted
for the user name and password.

Open the web in FrontPage

File | Publish

Input the correct FTP path as provided by the web host.

When you click on it, you'll be asked for the username and password.

When I click on File - Publish Web, "Publish Web" is greyed out. I must be missing a step? I have a web page open in Frontpage.

You must have a web open (File Menu | Open Web) and not just a page.

Thanks for the follow up Tom.

If the site does not have the FP SE and you must FTP, see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=301553
