upgrading to XP

When I upgraded from windows 98 to XP I lost all my
previously kept emails, my Address book transferred over
but not the emails . can you help

Hi Kelly tried both those fixes but problem still exists, also tried searching using *.mbx. with same result what else can Itry ?? thanks

So you were using the older version of OE (OE4)? MBX:
