Upgrading to Windows 2003 Domain

I have a quick question about how 2003 and 2000 like to play together.

We have a current 2000 domain, and I want to upgrade it to 2003. We have a
server in place, and just need to run DCPROMO on the 2k3 box, but I am a
little gun shy since I can't find ANY documentation in books or online on how
well they work together.

I am assuming that I will have certain limited functionality with the 2003
until I can raise the functional level to 2003...but you know what happens
when you assume...

Anyone who can point me in the right direction? Anyone had any problems
with running mixed mode?

i had mixed mode here for some time and everything worked well
you should be fine putting a 2003 dc in an existing 2000 domain
yes, domain functionality is somewhat restricted, by that i mean 2003-only
functions are available once the 2000 servers are gone and level raised to
2003 native
