Upgrading to Win XP Home from a Win 98 Upgrade CD

I've read through a number of posts on this subject, but no one has clearly
stated whether this is possible.

My Windows 98 is labeled "Windows 98 Upgrade". I want to do a clean install
of Win XP on a new hd. Will the Win XP Home Edition Upgrade CD work with the
Windows 98 Upgrade CD (yes it is retail, but not the "Full" Windows 98
version)?

Thanks.

Yes, it should work without a problem.

And I'm shocked by both replies. Usually they'd go on & on about having
a full licensed copy to comply with the Upgrade EULA, instead of the
reality of the an upgrade CD is all you need to install.
