Upgrading RAM

I would guess, that some RAM is used as "Shared Video memory"; how much
depends on your system, but I bet that's where 64meg has gone to.

This has been resolved. The supplier (I shan't name them but shan't use them
again!) sent a memory board which was incompatible with my PC. Fine for a
later model but not mine. Crucial solved this problem by supplying a
compatible board. I now have the full memory capacity.
