Missing Memory?

Hi all, my old desktop pc only had 128MB PC133 RAM, so I've just added 256MB PC133 SDRAM DIMM to the second slot, which should add-up to 384MB. I used 'Belarc Advisor' to check the install but it shows both slots as empty.
Would swapping them around make any difference or am I worrying over nothing?
System Properties shows 384MB so I know it's there. But is it doing it's job properly?
TIA

I would say as long as Windows recognizes it, you are fine...

Try putting the 256 in the first slot...I've seen this happen before.

If that is happy there is nothing to worry about.

The System Information tool might well give wrong answers (it has a bug)
and Belarc is happy to tell me that one of my HDs and DVD drives, on the
second channel just do not exist.
