Upgrading PC

I purchased XP Pro Upgrade as part of a planned upgrade to my PC. My PC is
running windows 2000 pro. I purchased a new motherboard which only works with
XP.
I am keeping my harddrive. I AM NOT AN EXPERT. I thought it would be best if
I first upgraded my Windows 2000 Pro with the XP Pro Upgrade. That way, when
I install the new motherboard it will be able to work since it must have XP.

When I upgraded my Windows 2000 Pro the XP Pro Upgrade notified me to
Activate.
So I did.

Will this create any problems?

As a matter of interest what motherboard is that doesnt support win2k?

It will still require a repair install, with the new motherboard, in order
for you to install the motherboard drivers cd supplied
