Question for anyone who might know.
I'm in the process of upgrading my machine. I have basically built a
machine from scratch. New memory, mother board, case, the works. I moved my
harddrive out of my old machine into my new machine and turned on the machine.
It never comes up. I move the hard drive back into the old hardware and it
works like a champ. I formatted another drive and installed XP and that hard
drive works fine in the new machine.
Is there something special that Windows XP does that may force me to use the
same old mother board/memory/whatever?
Any help would be appreciated!
