Upgrading graphics card

I am operating a fujitsu siemens scaleo 600 Pentium 4, 2.56ghz with 1gb ram, Windows XP Home. I work a lot with graphics (photos) and I don't think my current graphics card is up to the job, it crashes quite often. The card in place now is a GeForce MX420 AGP with onboard memory of 64MB. Does anyone know if it is upgradable?, my machine is about 6 yrs old now and I don't know if I will be able to upgrade ?.
