Upgrading from server to advanced server

I systems running Windows 2000 server and I need to
replace the current installation with Windows 2000
Advanced Server. I attempted to perform a repair without
an ERD by booting with a Win2K Adv Server CD, but the
setup program wasn't able to find the installation of
Win2K server. What is the correct procedure to accomplish
this upgrade?
 
This is not an upgrade. You must format and reinstall.
