upgrading from office xp

Do I have to uninstall Office XP prior to installing
Office 2003? Will my Outlook XP contacts automatically
transfer to Outlook 2003?
 
Select the Upgrade option when upgrading when upgrading to Office 2003

If you have your contact in a pst file, it should pick up the pst file and
therefore you will not loose your contacts
