Upgrading from 2000 to 2007

I'm trying out the 2007 Office trial, but I probably will get the suite. I
am assuming the trial will incorporate all my current contacts and emails,
etc.; but that the old version will stay on and can be accessable if I
choose.

When I get the program, can I just purchase it right from the trial and not
have to download again or get a disk?

I think you need the full media then you uninstall the trial and install the
full version.
The Outlook data on you drive should stay in place and migrate. In the odd
chance it doesn't it can be easily recovered. Locate and backup your main
PST file to add an extra layer of safety.
